Arcadian Opera is very proud of its inclusion of children and young people in its productions. One of our founding principals is to blow away the perceived elitism of grand opera and bring accessible and fun productions to life for, and with, young people.

In The Magic Flute in 2021 we used three aspiring teenage singers from Northampton Music School to sing the voices of the three Spirits whose corporal beings were acted by three classical ballet dancers.

We are thrilled to announce that one of the three singers, Poppy Baker, pictured above, has now been accepted onto the Jazz Vocals course at the very prestigious Birmingham Conservatoire.
